Hello Guys!

I am quite new to FNCP so my question could be very obvious and easy to most of you. I would like to edit nearly 70 gb of footages but I do not have enough place to copy the files from sd card to my macbook, thereofre I would like to leave the files in place but I cannot chose this option. Could you please help me to solve my problem?

Unfortunately you can’t. FCP won’t let you edit from a camera card. You will have to get more storage. Small SSDs are pocket size and relatively inexpensive.
