FCPX viewer not showing or playing clip upon keyboard shortcut switch.

Switching focus of timeline to clip in library/browser no longer shows it in the viewer for playback. This happens when using the keyboard shortcut (command +1). The only way to select it is to click on the browser with the mouse. Use to work just fine.

Have you had any luck figuring out how to solve this? This has been happening for me since upgrading to Big Sur and the latest FCP, when using a second display. The only way Ive been able to get it back is to hide the timeline then unhide but it is crazy annoying / productivity killer.

Had this happen too but with latest Big Sur and FCP update version is not happening anymore. Have you updated Big Sur to 11.1 and FCP to 10.15.1?
