Apple Photos Library in FCPX - tagging, keywording not showing

Dear Forum.

The tagging and any keywording done in Apple Photos Library are not being carried over to FCP X as done in Finder.

Despite its limited DAM functionality, I can do search on any tagging, keywording added in Photos, it even recognizes the metadata of any photo and video that is imported, however, the FCPX can only recognize album/ file names and uses default search parameters on the basis of dates, moments etc. when the Photos library (system) accessed within FCPX .

It's a bit odd, do you think this an expected behavior in FCPX? or both database don't talk each other? I couldn't find any lead on Apple support.

Developed by two different, unrelated teams. Maybe it would be nice if they carried metadata back and forth, but I've not found it to be an issue. When I'm cutting video, my keywords and such in Photos don't apply anyway.

Interestingly, Apple Photos somehow can access to the metadata of imported photos that's been keyworded, tagged before the import and they're all searchable. I thought extension Apps within FCPX would show the same behaviour.
Is it the case for other DAM Apps like Key flow Pro?

Metadata of photos imported from where? FCPX can read Finder keywords and tags. You probably want something like Keyflow Pro.
