Sidecar & FCPX

I'm quite excited aboutt the new Sidecar function in macOS Catalina/iPadOS...

Been hoping for years that Apple would bring out an FCPX control app just like they have for Logic Pro X. But I guess with the new Sidecar it won't be necessary!

What I'd like the most is to be able to have the Angles viewer on the iPad and just tap on the angle I want to switch to with my finger...

For editing on the go (w/ MacBook Pro) it would also be nice to offload inspector-, effects-windows etc to a second screen...

Any particular uses you guys look forward to with this?

You can see it in use here, about 2:07, it is simply a second monitor. If you can do it on a second monitor, you can do it with SideCar. Nothing special about it.

Any info on if it will support touch interactions? Apple pen seems supported at least.

If touch is supported I can see things like colour wheels and angle switching being really great on the iPad via Sidecar. But if it's only a second monitor with no touch input it's really a missed opportunity.

I have developer access to the seed version now but won't install for another month or so. Catalina beta right now is mega-buggy, as is par for the course. When I do install it, this will be one of the first features I test out.
