What if I don't want the Setting to be added to the file name : like " up to 4K " etc ?
I am almost sure there was a way in Compressor 3, can't remember

The answer is so surprising ....
You can change the naming tokens related a job by setting it in the location inspector !!?!
Create a location , then in the location button clic the inspector and that's where you can do this.
