So I've got the brand new 12.9 inch iPad Pro, and I tried downloading both Google Remote Desktop app and Splashtop Streamer, and neither seem to do a very good precision wise or frame rate wise. All I'm trying to do is play back some clips and set in and out points and mark them as favorites. And occasionally do some color corrections using the Color Board.
Even with the pencil it's not very good because on both, the response is so slow it's almost not worth using

just to feed my curiosity …
A tablet is the most 'mobile' computer thinkable - in what real-world situation one should use it remotely?

Sorry I wasn’t very clear. I’ve got my iMac down in my basement, but it’s nice to do a little editing on the iPad Pro from up in my bedroom in bed at night. Little pampering for me
And it’s all while i’m on the same WiFi network since i’m still in the same house as the iMac, so it’s not remote like I’m editing from another location or state, I’m just editing from the second floor instead of the basement.
