.WMA files? was created by Whokuni
I have 9 .wma files which I want to use in FCP X, but as everybody probably knows, that is a windows format. Can somebody please suggest what software (free or paid) would let me change them to a ompatible format please.

Thanking you in advance.

.WMA is Windows Media Audio -- an audio file. You can use the free VLC player, do File>Open/Convert, then save as .MP3.

I great respect I would slightly disagree, and think it more prudent to use VLC with a custom setting to convert to WAV 48K with a higher bit rate than the default.

I agree with Tom, if you want to keep the quality at its best.

Anything higher than the default, but not drastically higher.
