Last week I imported a perfectly fine interview, i shot on my Sony FS7, into Final Cut 10.4.4
The original file has perfect sound quality.
in final Cut, the sound was distorted, muffled.
So i imported into a new mediathek, now it was better, but in the timeline it is still a little muffled.
Someone with an idea what could be wrong here?

No clue, never seen this before. It sounds fine in the Browser, not in the Timeline. If you select it and study the Inspector, you don't see any adjustments or filters that could cause this?
