Zoom from centre transition

Hi, I do apologise if this is a facile question, I'm new to FCP and finding my way around...

I want to do a transition from a movie clip to a slide (a png) where the slide starts small in the centre of the clip and flies towards me, then taking up the entire screen.
A bit like the primitive one from an old TV show attached.
How to do this please?
Thanks!
Andy

Nothing attached.

If you look around you may find a Transition Template already made that does this.

To manually do it, overlap the PNG still over the end of the first clip. It'll be an attached clip to the first one. Then, place the playhead where you want the transition to end (yes, often easier to work backwards with compositing). In the Inspector, keyframe the Scale at 100%. Then put the playhead where the transition should start, and change Scale to 0% which automatically creates a keyframe for it there.

Thank you, sorry for the lack of attachment, the forum didn't allow it.

I'd search for a ready-made transition, but I'm not really sure what this effect would be called!
