Getting Prompts that effects have been unlocked - FX Factory

Lately, I think since the last update, I have been getting lots of prompts that tell me certain effects or plug-ins or whatnot that I've had installed forever have finally been unlocked. This happens at random, even if FCP has been open for days and I go to the Finder to do something and back to FCP, for example. I can either dismiss them or click another button to learn about removing watermarks. Is this a bug in FX Factory? Anyone else seeing this? I kinda don't like FX Factory and wish I could get plug-ins without it so I wouldn't have to deal with it's constant interference.

Use FCPX and Motion on several different Macs, all day every day, never seen that.

UPDATE: FX Factory says I was the 2nd person to report the problem. They have me a future version of the app to install.
