Help! FCPX 10.4.5. wont open older FCPX projects and events

Hi All!
Ive been using a real old version of FCPX for years and finally decided to upgrade to Mojave and Final Cut 10.4.5.
Now, when I open the new Final Cut none of my projects or events appear.
Had I knew this prior I would have never upgraded ....

Can someone please help me out? How do you get FCPX to load events and projects from FCPX 10.0 ?????

You need to download a version of Sierra and install it on an external drive. You can then download from Apple a trial version of 10.2.3 There’s a link to it on this page

That version of the software can update the old projects and events. You’ll have to copy those together with media to where they can be accessed and updated. There are specific location requirements. Information about updating the old content is available on this page
