New to the forum, and can't seem to find any info. on how I embed ISRC codes into projects prior sharing.

I believe your only option is to create custom metadata fields in the inspector that will get exported along with your file. Then you can add the relevant identification information to those fields. This likely wont be easily readable by the average user but it remains connected to your project file and can be accessed by various software that can pull metadata from your master file.

For more information on how to add metadata, in FCPX select the HELP menu, choose FCPX Help and in the search field, type metadata settings.
