So the same exact file is being relinked to and failing. I'm getting the common "the original file and new file have different audio source and channel counts" error message.
At the Finder level, it's the same exact file. I'm trying to relink from an XML a remote editor gave me. We are all using "Extended" view v1.8 when saving the XML.
Is there something getting lost in translation in the XML that reports differing audio channels? One thing we do is commonly disable unused audio tracks (4-channel audio on some clips, we disable all but Ch1). If that in fact is the issue, how can we avoid it?
