Hi,
I have been using ProRes422 and ProRes 4444 with my png's. They work fine.
I'm working in animation but I'm just curious to know what codec some might use for animation.
Importing images as a sequence in QT7 Pro then I export.
Distribution is mostly digital or festivals.
Should I consider Prores LT if I encounter speed issues during edit?

ProRes LT will lower the bit rate, you may sacrifice some image quality. Stick with ProRes HQ, and if you need an alpha channel then ProRes 4x4.
