Camera Archive App?

Camera Archive App? was created by mindbend
Are there any apps that can create camera archives? I know I can use FCPX, which is what I currently do, but it's a little clunky and unreasonably slow. I'm not sure why it takes so much longer to create an archive as opposed to just copying the content, which is much faster.

Because FCPX, as with any app written specifically to "archive" a camera card, does parity checks, which takes longer than a simple copy. It verifies the copied data is absolutely in tact and correct. Straight copy doesn't do that extra work. FCPX is not any slower than most any other archiving app. But there are a few out there if you want something stand-alone. Can't recall any off the top of my head, cause I just use the FCPX function.
