Way to open FCPX 10.4.3 XML Ver 1.7 in FCPX 10.3.4 XML Ver 1.6 and 1.5

I have FCPX 10.3.4 that can only open XML Ver 1.6 and 1.5 and a client send me a XML Ver 1.7 created with FCPX 10.4.3.
There is a way I can open that XML ver 1.7 in FCPX 10.3.4 or a way to convert the XML Ver 1.7 to a XML Ver 1.6.

Yes there is, but it will cost you a great deal of money, in cash, and afterwards, you and your family will have to go into hiding. :silly:

My family is hiding from me so I don't care.

There's some trick to editing the XML itself in some way. Couple folks here know more than I do. I'm sure they'll chime in soon.

I do know the current version is 1.8, and 10.4 will let you export in the previous version, 1.7. No clue what version FCPX 10.3 used.

Depending on the complexity of the edit , DAVINCI RESOLVE can translate that pretty well .... but even then some language of fcpxml 1.7 might not exist in 1.6 or 1.5. That would be the fast and free way to do it.
