So every now and then Coremelt decides to chuck the toys out the pram and comes up with "Trial Expired" all over whatever I put on the timeline, even though I've purchased the things I'm using ages ago, can't remember what the remedy was for this last time but Ive just downloaded the latest version from Coremelts website and binned my final cut prefs file....any other suggestions?
Cheers!

I've had the same problem many times with CoreMelt plugins. See if one of these videos help:

Coremelt has a new licensing engine coming out soon. They've been working on this awhile and want to get it right before releasing. If you have "trial expired" show up, simply reapply your license number. Also, be sure you're up to date with the latest version.
