External hard drive for FCPX

Hello, I will use FCpx with External hard drive (WD 1tb) recently hard drive got problem & all my files correpted,
so for travelling i am looking for portable hard drive, i had confusion which drive i should prefer SSD or HDD,
which is best 1tb hard drive, plse give ur valuable suggestions.

They both risk corruption when traveling. Get two, one will be your backup. Very rare for two to go out at once. SSD will hold up to being banged around during travel. That said, no drive is 100% travel proof, so get two, back it up, often.

Thank you, i am not do in travel, i will move one place to another, so i want to go for portable,
so which is better SSD or HDD?
or both same to use fcpx means i will buy HDD only.

SDD is more expensive, HDD more prone to damage when moving. If you can afford SSD, go with that.

Thank you for quick response.
