Font Keeps Becoming Corrupted

I have a 3rd party font, proxima nova, that keeps becoming corrupted randomly with FCPX. It was be fine as I'm creating the text, then at some point become jiberish until I until and re-install. I'd say this happens within 30 minutes to an hour of correcting it each time. Has anyone ever come across this? I've tried deleting my entire font folder and re-installing them, but the problem still persists.

I'd suspect that copy of the font itself. Re-download, or find it from a different source.
