Font color for captions was created by Andreas Kiel
Maybe somebody has an idea about the following:
If I create a CEA-608 caption and apply a pure red color to the text it is stored as 'fontColor="1 0 0 1"' in RGBA which are correct values.
If I create a ITT caption and apply a pure red color to the text it is stored as 'fontColor="1 0.149131 0 1"' in RGBA values.
Does this make any sense?

… absolutely no clue, but like to solve riddles … :silly:
a) looks like the decimal representation of a fraction … but 0 is no fraction
b) shouldn't red be 255 0 0 0, not 1 0 0 0… ? (resp in iTT/RGBA 255 0 0 255)

Using 0 thru 1 per color component gives you an endless color depth.

This would be a 8 bit value.Karsten Schlüter wrote: b) shouldn't red be 255 0 0 0, not 1 0 0 0… ?
