Pixel Film Path Generator Anyone Got This Working To Satisfaction (Or Other Plugin For Trailing Effe

I need to show the path an object moves in one of my projects. I bought the Pixel Films Path Generator, as the demo video really shows some awesome stuff. But after purchase, I discovered that it only works in 1920 x 1080 (you can change the setting later, but it really messes with things). But my main concern is the actual tracking, I would like to know if someone got the desired results, i.e. got a nice smooth trailing path behind a moving object? If they did, then it must be me not knowing how to work the plugin, but I've been having a go at it for the past few days, with plenty different settings.

Are there any other plugins one knows of that can generate the desired effect, showing a trail behind a moving object to show it's path.

thanks

FCPX' build-in Trail effect is not what you're looking for?

In the Effects Tab, search for 'Trails'…

Neah, that's not what I'm after. I'm after trailing an object, not the whole video.
