Pro Res 444 not working in 10.4.2 was created by Rob Moragas
I've been working on a project in prores 444 and when I export it out of the timeline it loads with the message,
" No video or Audio in the file "
It does not load in premiere, media encoder or compressor but does load back into FCPX as a re import...why is this?
Please do not provide the solution of re-exporting or transcoding to prores HQ?
FYI. IN 10.3.4. the file exports correctly.

Are you expiring a Project timeline, or an individual clip from the Browser? Is a file actually made, and can you open that in QT Player and view it?

I am exporting a project timeline, and it was set to initially to Prores4444. The export opens in QT and Mpeg stream clip. It does not open in compressor, adobe premiere, media encoder.
It does re-import intoFCPX.
I am currently running 10.4.2. If I import that same clip into 10.3.4 it does export as prores444 and plays fine. Incidentally, I also have an issue with optical flow. It does not work in 10.4.2 but does work in 10.3.4.

What "percentage" of your system drive's total capacity is now free space?
Same question for your secondary media drive.

What is the source video (codec, camera, etc)? This is highly unusual, I've never seen this before.
To start, let's get the obvious out of the way.
1- Hold Option+Command while launching FCPX, to delete preference files.
2- Select the Library, go to File menu, select Delete All Generated Library..., the delete ALL render files.
3- Run First Aid in the Disk Utility app on all drives.
And I believe this will be related to your other issue. Follow Ronny's advice, please.
