FCPX Won't Let Me Open Files from 2013 was created by myranda lee.smith

I have a drive that hasn't been used since 2013, but I have some old projects on there that I want to get off. The files are named "CurrentVersion.fcpproject" and when I try to open it, it just opens as a text box with a lot of characters. Does anyone know how to open these files in the newest version of Final Cut? I've attached pictures for reference.

You need two things, access to an older version of the OS, Sierra or older and to download the trial version of 10.2.3, which has available on this page support.apple.com/en-us/HT207357
