Reveal in browser

Hello,
When I choose a clip on the timeline and select reveal in browser it never goes to the clip on the first try.
It opens up the browser window in the proper folder but not on the clip.
I then have to select reveal in browser again for it to go directly on the clip.

Anyone else experiencing this?

If the list of files is longer than the Finder window can show, you simply have to scroll down to it.

I just thought that it should jump directly to the clip.

For me, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's a macOS thing, it happens to me in several apps, has done this for some time now. We don't live in a perfect world... (sigh)

Yes, Albo. I have experience this, as far as I can remember, in every version so far. I always have to execute the process 2x to find my clip. I don't scroll to find it, because very often I am looking for a few seconds that are cut from a long multicam and it is nearly impossible to see which of the many edits from that multicam is highlighted in the browser. A minor inconvenience but apparently difficult to fix in the app.

Yes. Minor.
One day it will work like it should.
And I also don't scroll. A lot simpler to just select twice.

Yes I hate this that it will not show the clip on the first try in FCPX.
It seems it will jump to the event first then on the second try it will actually jump to the clip.

Yep. Does end up getting on your nerves!
