A bug maybe?? Not sure...strange anyway...

Hi All...

This is the setup...
macbook Pro 8GB retina 13 inch from 2013, the hard drive is partitioned into 2, 1-running Sierra 10.12.6 and the 2nd partition running High Sierra Beta 10.13.4 beta version 6.

When using FCP 10.4 under beta 6, the orange show used media bar does not appear, yet when I checked FCP 10.4 under Sierra 10.12.6, the show used media range orange bar appears right as rain...

So this tells me 2 things, 1-my laptop is not faulty, and 2 it show that there is a bug or something wrong when you use High Sierra beta 6...

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue...just reporting a fault/bug that I found under HS+FCPX 10.4

You sure you have it turned on in both systems? It’s hughly unlikely the OS could create this problem.

Tom got me worried there, was I doing the right thing...
And well I found not sure if it is a problem, or just a bug, but if you create a compound clip, the orange bar that was there when you open the compound clip goes away when you revert back to the compound clip, not sure how you would say, close the compound clip??

The point is, when the compound clip is expanded, it works, when collapsed, the orange bar disappears...Not seen this before...

Compound clip is like another sequence so not showing the orange bar.
Kind of annoying, but thats how it always been.

Be careful about calling something a bug, lest the moderator jump in and snarl at you. Only to commit the same sin himself, quite hypocritically a few post s later.
