Multicam angles blank and clips locked???

Hello,
I have a series of Multicam clips that I have edited sucessfully before upgrading fcp. Not sure if my issues are update related.
Now, I can edit as normal on the default angle but when I select to show 2 angles, I get one blank window and if I double click the clip I can see in the Multicam timeline that both clips are there but locked somehow with lines across the timeline.
Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Tom,
The issue was that I had done sync instead of Multicam.

Now I am having a new issue now that I have trashed the sync clips and made new Multicam clips. FCP was always able to drop frames like crazy but always maintain audio. Now I am getting the audio playback dropping out really badly that I can not edit.

Any ideas?

What are the specs of the audio? Try using proxy files instead.
