Hi all,

In FCPX 10.4 I have a number of events, showing the notorious exclamation mark, indicating files are allegedly missing. In some cases this is really true, but in just as many cases the exclamation mark is there but all files are present. The project inside the event is not showing the excl.mark and nowhere is a missing file to be seen.

What other conditions, except a bug in FCPX, will generate an exclamation mark ?

That's a bug we've had for awhile, false alerts... (sigh)

I open and close the folders and it vanishes when you open it again.

CONFIRMED...both that the bug & solution still exist in 10.6.4.

NOTE in case it helps anyone. I ran across this by copying references to sound files from an event in one library to an event in another, then re-linking to the source files. ONLY issue was the warning sign. Quitting or closing the library didn't work, but twisting the library arrow up and back down did. Weird!
