Clips disappear when changing speed

Trying to change speed on a clip connected to primary storyline makes it disappear. Overwriting it to primary timeline helps. Anyone else ? Trashed preferences but the same.

I am not seeing this. So, exactly what steps do you take, and at what point does the clip vanish?

Storyline just black with connected dialog audio clips.
Connect a clip to storyline.
Activate, cmd+R to change speed.
Try to change the speed with the cursor start dragging and the clip disappears.

Put a new clip there now can't copy the behaviour for the moment. Have had some problems with magic mouse since High Sierra update. Perhaps the problem is there.

Doing some more tests. Working ok to change speed on new clip 2 or 3 times then it starts. If I left press on mouse and keep the mouse still the clip jumps a bit on timeline. If I try to drag to change speed it disappears. Shall go over to another mouse to see if something is wrong there.

And, tried to re-establish your situation - all within normal parameters, can drag'n xtend like crazy - clip doesn't vanish ....

That is really odd... I can't replicate, but I see it happening. Feedback page ASAP!

It is possible there is a Magic Trackpad bug. I get wonky video scope behaviors when using a specific function inside a specific plugin. In posting on that company's private beta tester page, someone said they had wonky Magic Trackpad issues with another app. So I wonder if we do have a macOS trackpad bug? Can't say for sure...
