This from MacWorld: www.macworld.com/article/3250207/softwar...ut-pro-x-review.html

Obviously written before the 10.4 update but interesting how FCPX is tagged "prosumer" by the reviewer.

funny find!! :P

thinkfilm wrote: …Obviously written before the 10.4 update ….

hmm?

Thanks to a recent update, Final Cut now supports the HEVC video format (also called H.265).

indicates v10.4, but …

A couple of features are conspicuously absent. The big one is professional color grading tools.

indicates, this intern 'writer' has no clue … period.
and why does the chief editor allow such a shallow review, 6 years after 'new'???

If I'm in charge of PR, I would send a swat-team of MiBs to knock on Macworlds door …
clickbait … if anyhow.

I say we start an email campaign to MacWorld and point out how horribly incompetent and irresponsible that review is.

HA! I believe Robin S. Kurz commented just about right on this "review"via the MacWorld Facebook page. Thank you, RSK.

Not just Kurz, but others posting, more and more, about what BS this article really is. Let's see what happens. Does MacWorld keep it up, or do they take it down and replace it with a responsible, factual review? I actually believe they own Apple a public apology for publishing such tripe.

BTW, here's the author's FB page if you want to contact him directly and ask how he reached such factually inaccurate conclusions.

Looks like most of the comments have been taken down. I just see two latest. The older ones from Robin and Ben have disappeared.

They need to come clean with us and retitle the magazine AdobeWorld. I posted again.

Never fear guys. All the comments are still there. Somehow the article "deserved" two entries on the Macworld Facebook page. One is closer to the top - time-stamped 11 hrs. ago (as I see it) - and the other is stamped January 26 at 1PM. The January 26 one has all the original comments by Ben, RSK, etc. see screenshots below.

Karsten, your post about the magnetic timeline pix in the MacWorld review cracked me up. I wonder what they think that headset thingy is used for in FCPX. Tunnel-vision?

No Karsten, it's special sun-glasses that are required to use such a shining, stelar NLE. :P

MacWorld... or is it really "AdobeWorld"...?

BTW, saw a few inaccuracies in their review of Pixelmator Pro, also. Who are they getting to write their articles? Appears to be guys who are gaming consumers, not professionals.
