I've been getting this message (attached) saying I don't have current versions of these plugins. So I searched my system and can't find them anywhere. Finder couldn't either. Any ideas?

You'd find the VTwinFX.app inside ~/Applications/coremelt and is needed for its popular _X plugins.
Update your coremelt plugins, advice from their website:

Thanks Karsten - that fixed it. How did you find out about the update? I haven't had a notice from Coremelt about this (and don't spend time trolling their website). So, problem solved. Thanks again.

same story as you: got that message, cmd-F 'Glass Fracture' = no hits, but 'VTwinFX' directed me into the coremelt folder; then, a tiny step for mankind but a huge leap onto core melts site "how to update??" …
yes, in a perfect world, the paying customer gets some sort of notification … with a direct link …

I agree - "in a perfect world..." Ads from Coremelt do show up from time to time which is fair enough but a notification to customers about changes of this type shouldn't be skipped IMO, even if they came packaged with another ad. Oh well - another of those "when I'm King this will be different" scenarios. :S

Corenelt is staffed by very friendly and dedicated folks. I highly recommend you all email Coremelt and mention the lack of update notification emails. I'm sure they'll do something to improve that. Don't just assume someone doesn't care, you have to communicate.

you have to admit: same rules for a manufacturer.
getting 'noticed' about an update via a host.apps error-message… classical PR/CC-fail.
And, btw: average customers as Ed and me never had a 'deal' with some never-heard-of VTwinFx - who's that and what is it doing on my harddrive?!
Roger is a nice one, but there IS room for improvement …
