My newly installed FCP 10.4 does not seem to be able to export to a MOV or MP4 file any longer. I can't export to FB or any service either.

Anyone have an idea what's going on?

iMac 2013 - 32 GB ram. High Sierra.

I'm exporting just fine. Can you give more details? What steps do you go through to export, etc?

you're aware, you can export/share only Projects, from the timeline?
