FCP 10.4: Color Boards vs. Wheels

I am mystified why Apple hasn't responded to this topic (through their own channels). They have clearly spent considerable effort developing the additions in 10.4 and people are puzzled by the behaviour of the color wheels. So why not explain their approach, or release a .4.1 update to bring these in line with general understanding. Keeping quiet is like ignoring the elephant in the room, so to speak!

… I'm aware of NDAs and such, but would be interesting anyhow, wether the beta-testers of 10_4 gave feedback on this issue… and why it wasn't fixed (if optional), explained (e.g. here: support.apple.com/en-us/HT204995 ) nor 'announced' (as an rec2020 exclusive ).

I get super fast H.264 exports on my iMP.
Since last Pro Video update, I have it now on the iMP.

Regarding Color Wheels you'd think Apple would clarify if they are working as intended. If there's an issue or a rethink on their function I'd imagine they'd be silent and just do the fix.
