Hi, all you Motion tinkers ;)

Frankly spoken,I'm no fan of 360° video. But honorable board-member and 3D-wizzard Pielle inspired me with his
www.fcp.co/forum/templates/28331-native-american-spirit#92562
post, to test something different:
Does a 'chrome' glyph reflect the environment… like a mirror?
hmm, not so…

But:

when you create a new Substance, with an 'Image' as Surface, and drag a 360° Environment into it the Image-well…
Next you have to link the Substance's Position to the Camera's rotation (sounds a bit weird - ° vs pixel… but it works, out of the box to my surprise)

… open attached screen grab.mov to see it I action… I just move the 3D cam, and the glyphs 'reflect' the surrounding…

All very early work-in-progress! Just a skit of an idea!
I'm sharing this, in hope some more profound expert find some useful use for that

(I can not share the project - I'm using a googled panorama … no 360° cams here)

hmmm, maybe 360° and I will get friends anyhow… LOL
