Looking for a hotkey/macro command

Hi,

I am using a shuttle pro 2 to speed up my editing. For my personal workflow i would like to know if there's an way to remove the clip between the cuts.

So i am playing this clip forward (see screenshot). I make cut 1 .... cut 2... and instead of clicking between the cuts to select&delete the clip, I want to delete it with a single handeling. Is that possible? Or to macro program that?

I handle it this way:
• blade the clip at IN position
• move playhead to OUT position
• hit opt+right bracket to trim (or opt+left bracket… depends on what to shorten)

so, all you need is two shortcuts and one click less…

I already have an key programmed for that
But some clips are 8 minutes and then i don't want to cut the end of the clip.

Any workaround for this?
