Keyword Tags Question

I have hundreds of clips of a college campus. I keyworded all of them and then placed them in a timeline for color grading. When the client asks for certain clips, I can open the Index tab, select "Tags" and search on whatever keyword I need. Then I can export just those color-graded clips.

The problem is that sometimes I revise my keywords or add new keywords to my source clips, but this does not propagate down to the timeline clips. Since the timeline clips are color graded, it becomes a big pain to get the timeline clip keywords updated.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to carry through keywords form the source clips in the "Browser" down to the timeline?

There is no way to do this automatically. If you re-keyword a clip in the browser that’s marked as used you would need to replace the clip the project. If you know where the clip in the project is you can copy the timeline clip, replace it and then paste the correction attributes back onto it.

You could make a feature request for this. One thing that would make this a little quicker would be a Shift-F function that went from browser to timeline.
