I don't know why FCPX keeps crashing. I think it might have something to do with having moved files to an external HD recently.

I can't drag anything onto the dimelline i Get he cursor "not allowed".

What version of FCPX and macOS are you running? Do you have plenty of free space on all hard drives? Here is some general troubleshooting advice:
