I was trying to figure out how to switch between projects. The problem was that I could switch libraries, but the timeline would stay down there instead of updating to the current library.
Then I read that I should relaunch FCP ( www.fcp.co/forum/4-final-cut-pro-x-fcpx/...tween-projects/reply ) and when I did, all of my projects are gone. It's like a brand-new FCP. How do I get my projects back?

Find the library you were working in and open it.

File > Open Library > Other > Locate

I'm having the same issues. After restarting the iMac there is no connection with the libraries (Extern, SSD). I have to connect manually.
