Library Corruption Detected was created by linus.morris
*Sigh*
So my FCPX is hooked up to my external drive and this has been great so far, until the last time I used it and my program crashed and stopped.
Now when I try and open up FCPX and select my external drive I get the following message
'Library Corruption Detected'
I think I know what project is damaged. I took a snapshot of another project and that was the last one I was using. I would delete that snapshot or even project if I knew how. I don't
If anyone else has this problem then I'd love a little bit of help.

Hi Linus,
Since the corruption happened when taking a snapshot of a project in the Library, the first thing you should do is open a backup of that Library to see if this solves the problem.
As you cannot open the Library from within FCP X anymore, you will need to go to the Final Cut Backups folder to open the backup from there.
Unless you have changed your Media storage settings, you should find the Final Cut Backups folder in your computer HDD > Movies folder.
Inside Final Cut Backups, look for the backup folder with the name of your corrupted Library and open it.
Inside the folder you will see a number of Library backups, each with a different date and time stamp. Go to the latest backup before you had the crash and double-click it.
Does this work?
