FCPX and Audio Interface outputs... was created by DmitriZigany
Hey!
I'm using a MOTU 828mk3 Audio Interface... It's set so the Mac outputs audio via it's Main Outputs... But it also have 8 additional analog outputs (1-
. For some reason FCPX decides to send mono sources to Analog Out 1... which means I cannot hear them!
I used to get around this but physically wire output 1 back into the interface... But now I'm in a shared studio so it's not really practical.
Anyone else had issues with this and were there any workarounds?
Wish: better support for audio interfaces within FCPX...
PS - seen this in other apps that are programmed to send audio to output 1-2 and not to the system default...

Hi...I also have a driver problem with my MK828II firewire. When I installed it 1,5 years ago, there was no rpoblem. Recently however, my pc decided not to recognize the audio interface anymore and I could only find the onboard soundcard. I disabled it, downloaded the newest direvers uninstalled the old drivers before installing the new ones, but it doesn't work. I get extreme latency and very weird and annoiing buzzes. Help from Motu support is not very helpfull so far and certainly not very quick. I tried installing the old drivers too, but that trick doesn't seem to work anymore either. The only thing I did in between was install service pack 3 for windows xp. Can that be why everything has gone to pieces?

Well... Not sure what WIndows has to do with this as FCPX is a Mac only software.
My MOTU 828mk3 is working perfectly is macOS otherwise, so sorry, can't help with your Windows problems...
