Workflow: Archive Project (Trim source files) was created by Whoopa
Hi,
I was wondering if someone has a workflow to share on how they get rid of space without corrupting their projects.
Background
Most of my material are multiple cameras and I end up with very large source material on every shoot. Once the editing is done, my archive for each project become significant. I don't really have the time to start trimming all the material before editing
Potential solution
One solution I've looked at is using Worx4 X. This would create trimmed duplicates of my source files and relink them to a copy of the project. After that I can edit the original source files to what size I'd like and put everything into archive. However, I have not tried this yet and would like some input from others
What ideal would be
Somehow trim the source file directly and relink the clip to the project.
Cheers
