how do I speed up a clip but detach audio without distorting the audio? was created by jitterbug

I tried detaching audio and detaching audio components, but when I select only the video component and speed it up, the detached audio component also speeds up. How do I prevent the audio from being changed?

You're not detaching, but expanding. There's only one "detach audio" option.
