SuperDuper with High Sierra

Hope this isn't considered off topic, but have just found that SuperDuper no longer recognizes my SSD which I use as a startup drive after installing High Sierra on my mid 2010 Mac Pro. Time machine still works, but I use SuperDuper to backup all my hard drives instead of Time Machine. Old FCPX files all boot up from the external HDs. I guess I could make a backup copy from the drive for Time Machine, but this does seem odd and SuperDuper updater says it is up to date and I can't find an answer anywhere else. Seems like I must be overlooking something. Thanks for any ideas.

First line on the developer's site, "Have no fear. SuperDuper v2.9.2 is here, and it includes High Sierra HFS+ support! (For APFS, SuperDuper! 3.0 B5 is available: (see the blog.)" That version for APFS being in beta now. Never upgrade until you have verified all necessary software and add-ons are compatible. Here's the blog.

Thank you. Now recognizes SSD. Strange thing is that system says this is an "older version" before loading. Whatever works is fine with me.

Not copying files correctly. Comes up with an error even when trying to copy from non SSD drives. Will try to deal with them, but this update isn't working.

External or internal drive? How is it formatted? Fusion drive or full size spinning drive?

Internal SSD drive and internal spinning conventional drive both trying to copy to external hard drive spinning drives full size. Neither now work. No problem with either before High Sierra upgrade.

That's not good. Hopefully ShirtPocket will be able to do something.

They just say it is a problem with High Sierra and not there program. Anyone else have this problem or a suggestion on another program to use. I haven't had any other problems with High Sierra. They suggested that I turn off all other applicantsons and run disk repair on target drive, but that only made the system copy almost all and then crash.

Carbon Copy Cloner has a major upgrade coming to deal with APFS. It is something they all have to fix with Apple's cooperation. Nothing to do but wait.

CCC claims they are ready. Can anyone confirm using a mid 2010 Mac Pro.

Don't mind buying something else if I am sure it works.

Downloaded CCC and ran that and it will back up both my SSD and regular HD. Both CCC and ShirtPocket say Apple has a problem with the new file system, but the CCC program stopped once with the SSD but then in the next try returned to where it had stopped and finished copying the rest of the drive without crashing the system or failing to complete the backup like SuperDuper did. Hope this helps anyone else who has this problem with High Sierra.

@TonyBSyr
We too have a mid 2010 tower 12 core but have not yet updated to HS. We have 2 internal SSD’s and 2 internal HD spinning drives. Did you allow HS to reformat your SSD to APFS and if so, did you experience any issues writing and reading between the SSD and HD drives, and also between any external HD’s?

Not sure. Just installed HS and everything seemed to work ok. Have one internal SSD and three internal HDs, along with six external HD. FCPX was working just fine and reading and writing to everything. No problem with anything until I tried to do backups with SuperDuper. At this point I don't recall it asking about the drives. It just seemed to take care of everything. It took about two hours to install HS which I think is what Larry Jordon said in one of his weekly posts. I have a four core machine. Before giving up on SuperDuper I tried a number of reformats and nothing worked. They wanted me to try HFS+, but at this point I had enough and decided to try CCC. All I did was erase the discs with HS disc utility and formatted them APFS.
