Hi folks,
Hoping for a little help. Some friends and I have been recording game footage and adding voiceover. However, the voice volume is way, way, way too low.
On final cut, both are set to 0DB (attached picture) yet the video audio is so much louder. By decreasing video audio, the balance works but you literally need your device or computer at full volume to be able to hear it at all.
One thing I tried was increasing the voice audio. This works but distorts (+30DB for example). I assume it's the way we are recording voice - either by recording into the Mac directly using Audacity or by using a voice memo app on our phones but with a microphone plugged in. The voice memo app I get, but audacity should be fine by using a decent mic into the Mac?
