… something's wrong with my setup:
Applying the Generator/Text/Timecode from within Motion 5.3.2 gives these options:
Opening a 'copy with Motion' from Generators/Elements/Timecode from within FCPX gives this:
afaik, this is no 3rd party generator, as it is not listed in the Motion Templates sub-folder..
Using not the projects timeline TC but instead the TC of the source clip is a HUGE improvement, I dropped that Enhancement Request a dozen time… example, in a homebrewn Title/Effect:
The report is a its very beginning, 32sec, but the selected scene is from minute 20 (I'm using Multicam, where the TC is set to nil on refs whistle) . Perfect! Exactly what I need! And demand for years!!
a) when was this feature added??
b) why does my Motion still use the old version? anyone a fix for that?
c) just me or do others see that difference too?
<happy but confused>
