Hi there,
I know how to adjust saturation, color and exposure to a whole clip ...
But I do have a 180 clip which is perfect in between but is too bright at the beginning (looking away from the sun) and too dark at the end (facing directly into the sun). So I'd like to push it a little at the end and darken it a little at the beginning, correction going smoothly from start to end.
How can I do this?
Any hint is appeciated.
Best
Denis

Hi Den,
you have to work around because FCPX does not allow for keyframing on color correction.
So blade your clip into three parts, correct them individually and then apply a crossfade transition between them. You can adjust the duration of the transition to match your needs.
Good luck!

How disappointing, thanks for the workaround.

What Overturf says. Alternatively, you could alt-drag twice to make two copies of the clip, brighten one of them and darken the other, and then keyframe their opacities to your liking.
