Effect similar to Coremelt's RGB Trails

I was a huge user of Coremelt's RGB Trails filter which gave a beautiful soft ghostly blur, as in here :




It's no longer supported (or doesn't work) in FCPX ... so I was wondering is there a similar filter that will allow me to achieve this effect? Thanks!

"RGB Trails"? Is that the name of it? I can't find it in Coremelt's collections. What collection is it a part of?

Also, I can't see the example.

That's the one - a ghostly trail of RGB, loved it. I have the plugin still, but it seems to have stopped working entirely with FCPX, and they've now pulled it completely from their available plugins. That was actually a thread I started myself (I lost my login details, lol) - so even with my purchasing a newer 2016 MBP, it's still not working for me.

I've not found anything yet that works, so was hoping for some alternative similar solution.

Perhaps BorisFX Continuum Units Time Temporal Blur comes close.
