Hi, professional musician here trying to figure out a good workflow with fcpx.
We have a live performance recorded in multitrack audio and several cameras.
Which will be the best way to proceed in fcpx so I can edit my project, this includes cutting off some time also to make it shorter, and not loose sync using this multiple audio files?
The project, after video is edited will be mixed in Logic Pro.
Thanks a lot for your help, best.

Hi
Make a multicam clip with all your cameras and the Mulichannel audio also as one camera
Then edit the Multicam Clip in a Project , Audio and Pictures will alway stay in sync
If you have a Rough mix on your multichannel you can listen to , you can disable the other tracks while editing
dont forget to enable before you export the Project. ( XML)
Ich you give roles to the Tracks these will be transported to Logic
I use X2Pro for export, but i think it should work Ok with XML export / Import with the latest Versions of Logic & FCP X
I do this often with concert and theater recordings

You can create a multitrack WAV in OcenAudio, and probably in Logic Pro X and Audacity
