HI all,

Just purchased Worx4 X, which I must say does a very good job of consolidating and trimming to save loads of disk space.

However, I wonder if anyone can recommend a workaround workflow for this particular issue I'm having:

If I use any plugins like MotionVFX's mLogo, the newly generated Worx4 X FCPXML file brings the plugin back into the timeline but the logo that was in the drop zone doesn't come back in with it and neither does it get copied into the new consolidated folder.

Also, with a text title, if it has a carriage return in the text, that is ignored and appears as a single line in the newly imported FCPXML. You can imagine what a bind that is to fix in a project that has a lot of subtitles.

I suppose what I'm hoping for is a n efficient workaround for issues like these that will prevent me from having to go through the entire timeline fixing issues created by Worx4 X because what I've saved in disk space is countered by the amount of time it takes to get everything else back to where it was so I can archive.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Yes, those are complex metadata assignments, and Worx is probably going to have to evolved a bit to cover that stuff with third party plugins, I would assume. Have you contacted their tech support?
