If you're based in Sydney, Australia and you hang out on this forum we might want to get to know you

We are looking for an editor(s) with end to end post production skills who’s first language is Final Cut Pro X.
We are also interested in those for whom FCPX is a second language – but please read on for that
You can chat about Multicam, Compounds Clips, Magnetic timelines, LenoFX, Alex4D, MotionVFX, Coremelt etc til the cows come home and when those cows do come home – and we supply you footage of those cows coming home – you can use Multicam, Compounds Clips, Magnetic timelines, LenoFX, Alex4D, MotionVFX, Coremelt etc to really tell the story of cows and how they came home.
You know your Proxies from your Optimized Footage and how they relate to Original Footage files. You know where these files are stored and how to moved them if you need to. Bad kerning hurts your soul. You love a good style guide because you understand that nothing is worse than *almost* on brand. Stock footage that is clearly shot at 30fps and has been put on a 25p timeline and plays with a sort of “tick” makes you weep for all that is good in the world.
Also – you are open minded and no NLE fundamentalist. You know that all NLEs are flawed and great in their own special ways. You don’t scoff at Premier. You know that After Effects is awesome, it’s just that for a lot of stuff you prefer Motion.
Is this you? OK fine..is 80% of it you? Great! Please get in contact. We are growing and we can’t do it without you. We can also teach you the missing 20% Heck maybe you can teach us something!
Initially this is on a job to job basis. Starting with a day this week – ideally tomorrow (Wednesday) but also potentially Thursday.
Is this *not* you? …but it is you in another NLE? Cool. If you are interested in being trained at a rate that reflects that you are being trained please get in contact too. We can be flexible and discuss.
Also, there’s free beer. Seriously
