I am interested in simulating this effect of the intro of the video with various video panes, possibly in a synchronized way. Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks Karsten. That's kinda what I was thinking but was hoping someone knew of an easy way.

… yep, sorry for the a bit blunt 'answer', but some things need simple craftsmanship … you probably find split-screen templates, not aware of 4x4 ones, … but they would help only the 'arrangement', you have to fill and edit the 16 'boxes' anyhow…
and I forgot, my lil' ritual a first time posters:

(local temps melt my manners … sorry)
